Dear Noiseminded, I'm fascinated of your creation. I played it when the game released and it was one of the best experiences I've ever got.

Had a blast playing!

I really enjoyed how little this game gave away about how to win. I won't spoil anything, but with trial and error you can make it! The great mix between not taking the player by the hand and eventually being doable made this game a lot of fun.

Also impressive sound design, that was the cherry on top!

Haha very funny, in the end I could finish it

This was very good, but way too short! I wanted to see more! I really hope this gets expanded into a longer game with a deeper look at the story behind this place!

Thanks for the fun :D

Noiseminded, my friend, you nailed a terrifying atmosphere in a minimalist environment! I had a sense of dread throughout my playthrough, especially after I encountered the Anomaly.

My only request would be to indicate what the objective is at the beginning of the game (I wandered aimlessly for a bit lol), but the rest of what you have here is done quite well. Best of luck in the rest of the development; I'd love to see a second part (and more).

A corrupt take on horror, literally. I like how the only way to see what the anomaly/anomalies look like is to turn around and see for yourself, no death animation directly showing it consuming you or anything.

OH MY FKING GOD I kept my volume at 100 cuz i couldn't hear anything and then i some creature popped up with that Loud ass HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO and I freaked out big time

2 min review for a 20 min playthrough

The fact the game crashes when you lose scuffed my recording of the game and me beating it, but I'll just make a review video w/o gameplay.

i'm getting some TERRIBLE frame drops! if i run it normally, it starts with a framerate around 30 and gradually lowers. degrading the resolution to 1366x768 allowed the framerate to stay at an even 60 but quickly dropped when the title made its appearance. exclusive fullscreen mode & 1366x768 made it run smoothly enough for me to enter the game and get a feel. about two minutes later, a quick steep drop from 60 to 5 in a matter of seconds. help me out?

Thank you for the feedback. I'll look into it. In the meantime, if you wouldn't mind telling me your specs that would be great!

of course

OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
CPU: Intel Core i7-6820HK @ 2.70GHz
RAM: 16 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M

hope you can get this resolved, it looks very interesting.

This game truly shows less is more

Thank you! I was indeed trying to keep it simple, as it is my first solo project. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Gave it a try

We were definitely surprised on our first time playing anomaly, hah. The sound was jarring initially, and we didn't know what we were looking at.

This Game Was An Experience @noiseminded … It seemed trippy but I love it... Lastly @noiseminded play to much... Nice Scare! : )

Congratulations on such a remarkable experience.  So simple yet exhilarating and terrifying.  I loved the in game mechanic of how to avoid the Anomaly due to the fact that when you figure out how to do it, it was in a way . . . enlightening.

I would absolutely play a second level if you ever put one out.  Great story, great concept, great and heart pounding game play.

Hope you like the video, feel free to share it anywhere you like.

Pretty good atmosphere, especially during chases. What really highlights the game is the visuals, which looks very claustrophobic and downright unsettling.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
